Asphalt Paving Harlingen paves, repairs and maintains asphalt for homeowners, businesses, churches and property managers in Harlingen and across Cameron and Willacy counties. Our work includes asphalt driveways, commercial parking lots, mill and overlay resurfacing, pothole patching, crack sealing and sealcoating, and line striping.

Harlingen pavement has three things working against it: heavy clay ground, a rainy season that peaks in September, and sun that never really lets up. The clay that underlies much of Cameron County drains very slowly and opens wide cracks when it dries, then swells when the rain returns. Pavement on that ground needs a real base under it and a way to get water off it, and that is where we start.

When we come out, we measure, look at the slope, check where the gutters and downspouts empty, and push a probe into anything that looks soft. If the work reaches the driveway approach or curb at the street, we explain the City of Harlingen permit step, because the city's permit guide lists driveway approaches and curb cuts as work that needs one.
